"Constant, vivid, curiosity fuels my 'found object' art.  My pockets are typically bursting with an assortment of small treasures, having been discarded and forgotten on the ground.  Other items seize my attention at antique shops, thrift stores and back alleys.  I strive to incorporate mostly vintage and antique elements in my work.  My ever-searching eye has collected thousands of components to place in assemblages.  I inherited my fathers workshop.  The building is my cozy playground where I bring unity to the gathered jewels.  The completed pieces give value to the bits, coming together in unexpected ways."

The addition of Peg Stevens' artwork to our gallery space, was a much needed change from the traditional collective of fine art.  Peg's assemblages add a one-of-a-kind collection of unique gifts and conversation pieces, that would fit perfectly in all kinds of settings.   Her artwork is more than just decor, as each piece draws you in and offers the viewers an actual experience exploring the variety of items and interesting ways each element is used to create the artwork.
