The Brickwalk Collective is a community of artists and creatives working together to grow opportunities for art in Kearney and throughout central Nebraska.

​

As part of The Brickwalk Project, the Collective gives artists a way to connect with one another, participate in exhibitions and events, develop their work, and become involved in projects that bring art into our community.

​

We believe a strong arts community is built through participation. Whether you're an established artist, just beginning your creative journey, or simply looking for a way to become more connected with other artists, the Collective provides a place to get involved.

More Than an Art Club

​

The Brickwalk Collective isn't centered around one gallery, one event, or one type of art. Our members help form the creative community behind a growing collection of programs, exhibitions, events, and community projects.

​

These include:

​

• Brickwalk Venues – rotating local art exhibits inside downtown businesses

• The Brickwalk Studio – shared ceramics workspace and educational programs

• The Art Alley Project – transforming alleyways into community art spaces

• The Kickin’ Bricks Art Festival – our signature spring festival celebrating art

• Brickwalk Holiday Market – an annual holiday market connecting artists with the community

• Art in Bloom – a collaborative exhibition bringing together original artwork and floral design

• Workshops, Classes & Art Walks – opportunities to create, learn, exhibit, and experience art

• Community Engagement – working together to help make Kearney a hub for Nebraska art

Connect With Other Artists

At its heart, the Collective is about relationships.

​

We want artists to know one another, share ideas, learn from each other, collaborate, and find opportunities they may not have found on their own.

​

Members can take advantage of exclusive events and opportunities, discounts on select Brickwalk shows and events, and ways to become more involved with the projects happening throughout the year.

​

Members may also choose to join the Brickwalk Collective's roster with the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs (ANAC) at no additional cost. Participation in ANAC is encouraged but not required.

Find Your Place in the Collective

There isn't one way to be involved.

​

You might exhibit your work, participate in a festival, attend a workshop, help with a community project, meet other artists, volunteer, or simply support what we're building.

​

Brickwalk Collective membership is $25 per year, with our membership year running October 1 through September 30.

​
